About Me

I’m Jacob and I have been designing and developing websites for over ten years. It started in High School where I was introduced to an elective course on Web Design, after which I led teams at three different High Schools to manage their websites and online student newspapers. It all snowballed from there, and over the years I have worked on numerous personal and professional projects ranging from commercial e-commerce sites to internal web applications.

My personal focus is on usable, visually appealing websites that engage customers and are accessible across a wide variety of platforms and web browsers. Maintaining websites can be daunting for small business owners which is why my priority is to make it as easy as possible for the website to work for your business, instead of the other way around.

Last year I started jacob I design to help bring my web design talent and development expertise to other small business owners in the Seattle area. I currently live in Everett, Washington, just North of Seattle, and work in Kirkland as a Data Support Agent and Blackberry Server Administrator/Solution Designer. My freelance web development allows me to flex my web muscle and interact with clients locally as well as across the world.
